Interbrand Design Forum is seeking a talented Client Services Associate Account Manager to join our team.

A. Major Role
The Associate Account Manager will function on behalf of the Account Manager in coordinating the day-to-day effort on behalf of the clients’ projects for all clients assigned.

B. Major Responsibilities and Duties
The Associate Account Manager has “4” primary areas of responsibility:
1. Function on behalf of the Account Manager in Client Customer Service
2. Function on behalf of the Account Manager in Managing Project Process
3. Function on behalf of the Account Manager in Financial Management
4. Function on behalf of the Account Manager in New Business with Existing Clients

C. Tasks
Client Customer Service
 Develops client relationships
 Establishes specific goals and objectives with client
 Learns the clients business, markets, competition and customers
 Establishes and maintains clear and open lines of communication with all relevant client personnel
 Keeps client fully informed of project status
 Coordinates all client meetings
• Travel arrangements for team
• Agenda for meeting
• Ensures all meeting preparation is complete
• Records all client meetings
• Assures follow up and initiates next steps

Managing Project Process
 Mobilizes client agreements
• Thoroughly understands scope of contract
• Thoroughly understands the terms and conditions of the contract and communicates terms to Accounting
• Confirms scope with clients
• Defines and manages schedule
• Initiates project set-up — Accounting
• Communicates project scope to team

C. Tasks (continued)
Managing Project Process
 Obtains all appropriate information to provide necessary project direction
 Prepares on outline of tasks required for each phase of the project
 Coordinates all client and internal related meetings / communication
• Attends internal team meetings
• Records all meetings
• Assures project files and reporting are maintained
• Assures follow up on questions / decisions
• Includes project team in conversations with client as needed
• Keeps project team fully informed of all issues effecting their disciplines
• Executes non-disclosure agreements with all outside consultants
 Coordinates shipping of all materials / deliverables to clients
 Reviews with team members all deliverables for quality control and ensures scope of contract is maintained
 Ensures deliverables are reviewed by appropriate members of management

Financial Management
 Knows and understands the terms of agreement
 Monitors actual time on job versus budget — Keeps team informed
 Issues Project Change Notices for added services in a timely fashion
 Projects sales for financial planning
 Completes billing process
 Follows up on outstanding receivables
 Develops new proposals for additional services
 Keeps management informed of financial status
 Executes all consultant contracts prior to work being performed

New Business with Existing Clients
 Effectively articulates our full service offering to clients
 Identifies new opportunities with clients
 Sells new services to clients
 Writes client proposals for services for all repeat business
 Ensures all proposals are reviewed by department heads and management

• Create and distribute rollout communications for program updates, product enhancements, direct marketing programs and sales tools

• Provide administrative and marketing support for the CEO and Marketing Director

Requirements:
Position requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism, and 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Adobe InDesign.
